please help me find the link to the association of colleges that is trying to standardize community college cirriculum so that courses transfer to 4-year institutions. This may be an Ohio association but I thought it was America wide.

The American Association of Community Colleges and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities are involved in a joint project to make access to a four-year degree easier for community college students. You can see the information about this at their project website:

Now, I'm not sure that this is really what you are asking about. It is not typical for national organizations like this to attempt to standardize curricula on a national level. On a statewide basis, though, many states have worked to develop agreements between community colleges and state colleges and universities that make transfer of coursework easier. Often called articulation agreements, these agreements between the state's community college system and the state university system help students in community college know in advance what courses will transfer from community colleges to the four year college.
If you are interested in Ohio, it doesn't look like they have a systemwide articulation agreement with all colleges, but that individual community colleges make articulation agreements with individual colleges in the state. Look at this link for a list of articulation agreements:

Its not the easiest information to understand. Take a look at North Carolina's articulation agreement, which covers all community colleges and state colleges and universities. It is much easier for students to understand:

If you are a community college student right now and you are interested in transferring to a four year college, I suggest that you contact the admissions department in the four year colleges that you are interested in and ask about their specific articulation agreement.
Hope this helps!
