Questions are removed arbitrarily on the plea that the community rules are violated. At least, an opportunity should be given to defend one self before his question is condemned.
Yahoo Answers has community rules. Is it not applied arbitrarily when with out giving a chance to defend?bad girls club
Most of the time they are arbitrary in their findings which is ridiculous. In an intellectual exercise one should appear to be just and fair.

I think this is one of those times where doing anything but applying the rules arbitrarily would cause so much debating and griping and "why was my question deleted and not his" that ultimately, Yahoo Answers would be an anarchic free-for-all. And I don't think that's something that anyone wants!
I had an answer deleted a few days ago because I was being blunt and the moderators thought I was being rude and unhelpful. I don't agree with their decision, but if I don't like it, I am free to stop coming here.
yeah i feel you on that. my husband has had that happened to him twice. just b/c people didn't like his question in religion yet there were plenty of racist and nasty questions posted a/b ours. it's amazing to me that others are allowed to say whatever they want while others are silenced i mean can we get a accurate reason or statement of how it violated the rules. i think it's all a/b the group mentality, but we should be able defend ourselves b/f they just yank our question out and you spend hrs. looking for it. that just blows.
True. But what ya goona do. They're just trying to be P.C. and not hurt anyones little sensitive feelings.
If you don't follow the Yahoo Answers guidelines then you will lose 10 points. If you keep on losing points then you risk suspension. You can try to defend if you lose 10 points, but it never works for me. For more on the Yahoo Answers guidelines click on this link: http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_...
If you had questions removed, then they obviously are
indefensible in the first place. You have all the rights
in the world. Just don't do Yahoo - nobody's twisting
your arm.
