Are bala sharks community with any breed of guppies?

these are the fish in my tank:

scissors tails 2

giant danios 2

zebra danios 2

guppies 2

black molly 1

dalmation molly 1

red platy 1

are bala sharks compatible with all of these fish? if not which ones.

petsmart says they will stress out the guppies and kill them. and petco says they ussually coexist and they are community. some websites say they can stay together and others say they can't. so please tell the right answer. is there any who owns guppies and bala sharks together in the same tank, and none of the guppies died?

Bala sharks are generally peaceful, and very easy to care for. I had two balas in with my tetras and the tetras actually harrassed the balas. The only downside to Balas are they grow BIG - up to 16" and they need a LOT of room, a tight fitting cover (they jump!) and some live plants to be comfortable. Unless you've got at least a 55 gallon tank, I wouldn't suggest you getting them. What would be even better would be to get a 55 gallon for just a pair of Balas and enjoy them that way.
