When convicted of a DUI in a county you do not live in, do you still have to perform community service in the county that you offended?

This is in North Carolina.

In CA, they transfer your service, to make it easier on you.

Just tell them that you have a full time job and no free time, making it impossible for you to travel.

That is all up to the district attorney and judge. There has to be a way that you could perform some kind of service for the state in general within your own county. That is something you, or your lawyer, will need to ask the district attorney. Good luck.
why did you ask the same question twice? if you are from a different country-they issue a warrant in the US-when you come into the country again-you will be arrested for failure to appear in court.
You have to do whatever the Judge orders you to do.
In Illinois they will transfer the community service to your home county.
