Does going to community college for 2 years first makes a difference to Medical Schools?

Would they prefer some one with 4 years at a university over some one with 2 years university and 2 years at a community college?

if you're worried about this (and trust me worrying isn't going to help) make sure you get great grades in both colleges you go to. talk with as many teachers as you can about how you can beef up your application and work on improving those test scores. trust me, showing that you've worked hard and you're capable means more than where you began. I began in community college because I barely graduated high school, and 6 years later I have my masters from Harvard. my advice would be don't let it stop you from going for your dream!

It doesn't really matter either way, in any field you go into. I go to a community college, and I'm planning on transferring to a university after next year. You can get the same credits, but a community college is usually cheaper, and most employers don't prefer one over the other. It's pretty much just your preference and what you want to do.
It shouldn't...what matters is your GPA at the university when you apply to medical school. Not everyone can afford college, and community college is a great way to save money. When you complete you AA degree at the community college, you can easily get into the university, however, the major that you will want to apply for may be competitive, so get the best grades that you can when you are at the community college. Those major professors will be looking for the students with the best grades to allow into their programs.

p.s. I have heard it is really, really beneficial to get a job in the medical field while you are going to school...so don't work in the movie theater if you can work in a doctor's office instead!
i have know idea about standards there. But if it;s my case, I need to know indept details on requirements of the medical schools i want to go to and make preparations in other facilities. Because they might not credit the knowledge i have acquired from other areas.
