At Nassau Community College, which class is tougher or what's the difference: Medical Microbiology or Microbiology? I know NCC requires the first one for its own nursing program, but I'm just wondering if there's a small or big difference between the two. Please also explain why. I plan on majoring in nursing in the future. Thanks in advance.

The major difference is probably that the Medical Micro focuses on how microbiology is relevant in the medical field. Some of the things you learn in microbiology have to do with plants, animals etc. and are not applicable to humans. I don't think one is "tougher" than the other. If you plan on doing nursing I would do the Microbiology course since the Medical Micro may not be accepted at all colleges in case you don't get into the nursing program at Nassau.
A trick I learned in nursing school : take your gen ed credits in the summer since the courses are shorter they cut out all the info you don't really need and focus on the real material. For example the course is 8 weeks as opposed to 16 and even though you go 2x per week the classes are still not as thorough as the regular courses. The summer classes are almost always easier and no one really wants to be there in the summer, both the professors or the teachers, and will usually let you out an hour early...
