If by "invest" you mean that real money changes hands then you should hire a lawyer before promoting the site as there are securities laws that will probably affect you.
Software develoment sites, open source if appropriate, you may also check into search engine optimization for your site.
Might also consider affiliation promotion with venture capitalist sites, investment firms etc etc...sure you've already thought of these, but figured I'd throw you the proverbial "bone" anyways, lol
